My name is Carlo Everaerts and I have been working at KU Leuven since 2021 as a Lab Technologist for the SMaRT Department where I am also an EIP and an experienced First Aid member, I have a great deal of experience regarding work and medical related problems here, I have worked in the chemical industry for years.
And worked for years as a freelance International instructor of first aid/Basic Life Support/Advanced First Aid and Tac. Medic national and international agencies.

I am married and have 4 daughters. In my spare time I am active as a sports shooter and love to travel and enjoy gastronomy.

I also have extensive experience in prevention and health on the workplace as I have been responsible for the safety and prevention of a team that worked with bulk chemicals on a daily basis in an industrial environment.
I would hereby commit myself in the first place to the Workplace Safety Committee (CPBW). for our employees in and around the campus and want to help improve and adjust the problems that arise and may arise, in order to maintain a safe and pleasant working environment for all of us.
