Emiel was born in 1965.

"I started working in the KU Leuven buildings through a subcontractor in 2008. I was responsible for the maintenance and repair of the ventilation systems."

Since 2011, Emiel has been employed permanently by KU Leuven as an HVAC maintenance technician. In this position he visits the many buildings at KU Leuven.

"From 1996 to 2004 I was a trade union representative for the ABVV metal in the Wanson company. Today I am a convinced member of the ACLVB. I like to help people if I can."

In my spare time I do model making, electronics and walking.
