Glenda is from the Philippines and graduated with a bachelor of science in agriculture (majoring in animal husbandry). “I worked in sales and marketing management in the Philippines. I then came to Belgium and further developed my future here.”

Glenda started at KU Leuven in 2000, first in the central library, then switched to the campus cleaning service. She worked successively in various buildings (College van Premonstreit, Arenberg Castle, American Residence) and today she is partly responsible for the cleaning of Residence De Waag in Heverlee.

“This is already the third social election that I am a convinced candidate for ACLVB. Together with my colleagues, I try to ensure that employees improve, especially by maintaining purchasing power. But also very important is a pleasant workplace for everyone.“
