As a (former) Slavistics student, I saw the banality of communist evil for a dozen years. I learned to cherish freedom and appreciate the contribution of liberalism to the struggle for a democratic and open society.

I belong(ed) successively to 4 staff categories: Junior Academic Staff BAP and AAP, teaching staff OP and ATP teaching staff.

I can call 3 locations mine in succession: Leuven, Brussels and Antwerp. I now work for 2 faculties: Arts and Economics and Business respectively.
