Laura is an assistant professor for data law at the faculty of law of the KU Leuven since 1 January 2024 with a specialization on data protection law. She is originally from Austria and lives already for almost 12 years in Belgium.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking the dog, and a bit of sports. She is a big fan of the Eurovision song contest and music in general (even though she has no talent to be a musician herself).

She is a new member of ACLBV Leuven which she joined with the motivation to represent the interests of the international staff members of KU Leuven. It is therefore her pleasure to be a candidate at the upcoming social elections, for which she promises to always have an open ear for everybody and to do her utmost best for working for sustainable solutions.
