After practicing as a lawyer for many years and subsequently working in the insurance sector, Reinhilde started her career at KU Leuven in 2013.  After being employed for some time at the HR Department as coordinator of HR advisers, she joined the General Administration's Legal Department eight years ago. There, she mainly provides legal guidance for international research projects. Besides this position, Reinhilde also invests part of her official work time in trade union work.

"What time is left besides a fulltime job, is gladly spent on children, family, friends, dog, garden (somewhat less gladly), house… Being passionate about interior design, I’m also in a permanent search for beautiful things that can make a living environment more pleasant."
